The City of Lawrence reports in the January 2010 issue of The Flame that they have funding available for emergency home repairs or furnace replacement.

(Lawrence, Ks.) – City offices will be closed on Monday, Jan. 18 in observance of the Martin Luther King, Jr. holiday. 

Residential solid waste collection will not be affected by the holiday closure. Commercial solid waste collection routes for Monday will be collected on schedule.

Parking meters in downtown Lawrence will be free on Monday, Jan. 18.
