Bob Marley B-Day Celebration - Haitian Relief Benefit February 6th, 2010

Larryville.com received a letter from one of its readers announcing an upcoming benefit concert for Haiti being held February 6th, 2010 at the Granada Theater in downtown Lawrence. For a mere $7.00 donation you get admission to one of the greatest events of the year! The three bands, The Kingstonians, The Irietions, and the Checkered Beat come together every year to celebrate the birth of Bob Marley. This year, they are donating all the proceed to the Red Cross Haitian disaster fund.

What you get for your $7.00 donation is an upbeat that makes you move and the great feeling of being part of something powerful. Hard to believe that something as easy as dropping into a club, getting a drink or two, and jamming with some fabulous music could make a huge impact on yourself and the Haitian people is possible.
